We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced software sales professional to join us as a Channel Sales Manager, helping us in building and developing a strong partnership portfolio globally.

About the role 

As the Channel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new channel partners. You will also be in charge of managing the ongoing relationship with different tiers of existing partners, to make our mutual clients' online sales processes more digital.

In this role, you will be able to negotiate and build business relations at a global level, being our main customers based across EMEA, US, and LATAM.

Whisbi is currently creating a portfolio of partners, therefore this is a great opportunity to be part of this new mission. For this reason, the role will initially be focused on partner recruitment, and the focus will change to partner management after the first 9-12 months.

About the team

The Whisbi Sales & Marketing team is made of talented and diverse people coming from different countries of the Globe, with different skillsets. The Marketing team's main aim is growing Whisbi's presence online and generating leads for the Sales team.

The Sales team, composed of Account Executives, Strategic Account Directors, and Channel Sales Managers, takes care of closing deals and nurturing business relationships with the help of the Customer Success Team.

What you'll be doing on the team

  • You will be heavily involved in the development and the ongoing improvement of the Channel Sales Programme. You will be supported in this by the CSO and the Sales SVP.
  • You will develop and manage channel partners to drive deal registrations and revenues.
  • You will strongly collaborate with the Account Executives and Strategic Account Directors to identify opportunities for new partnerships.
  • You will develop, manage, and report on partner sales funnel, being accountable for deal registrations and revenue targets.
  • You will work hand-in-hand with partners through the entire sales process including sales collateral, joint customer meetings, demos, and proposals.
  • You will behave like a product expert, making sure all the partners in the portfolio and the future ones have up-to-date knowledge of new features, tools, roadmap, etc., providing them with regular training.
  • You will work with the aim of closing deals and supervising deployments. In this sense, you will have a strong relationship with Finance and Legal department until invoicing and collection is completed.

About you

What we would like you to have:

  • You have a nearly native level of Business English, for leading conversations across different markets.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, in a digital and/or SaaS organization.
  • You prove to have a strong sales background and abilities, including pricing, relationship building, and management. You have a consultative selling approach.
  • You have a track record in selling enterprise software solutions to System Integration Partners and Value Added Resellers.
  • You have experience in selling enterprise security software and services; cloud-enabled file sharing and enterprise collaboration software would be a great plus!
