About the role 

We're looking for a Digital Marketer B2B to develop, scale, and manage our top of funnel activities at Whisbi. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you'll execute and drive key initiatives to build and optimize our existing growth engine, including testing new strategies to expand how we generate new leads, reducing funnel dropoff, and working with sales to maximize our SDR team's outbound efforts. This type of role at a growth startup requires not only growth marketing experience but an independence of thinking that allows you to move "beyond the playbook" to try out new ideas and initiatives that will drive company growth.

The main role of a B2B Digital Marketer at Whisbi  has to do with identifying levers across company operations that can deliver massive KPI growth. In our Marketing Director’s words: “The key job is to look at every channel, every source, and even every step of the buyer journey or user acquisition funnel and look for areas to grow.”

About the team

The Whisbi Sales & Marketing team is made of talented and diverse people coming from different countries of the Globe, presenting different skill sets. There is the Marketing team with the main aim of growing Whisbi's presence online and generating leads for the Sales team that, ultimately, takes care of closing deals and nurturing relationships with the help of the Customer Success Team.

You’ll be joining a team of amazing young professionals that have proven track international experience. They see multiculturalism and diversity as its main strength for growing and learning one-another.

What you’ll be doing in the team


  • In a nutshell, we're looking for someone who has a strong sense of ownership and is excited by the idea of acting both operationally (to tactically get-things-done each week) and strategically (to scale our business in 2021 and beyond, together with the Director of Marketing).
  • Execute paid online advertising campaigns to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (paid social, PPC, email, retargeting etc.)
  • Analyze, optimize and report on online marketing campaigns
  • Overseeing our lifecycle marketing efforts to drive new and existing users towards our SDR team.
  • Help optimize our SDR team's efforts from inbound
  • Drive demand generation experimentation
  • Create and continue tweaking our top-of-funnel strategy, tying together Brand efforts to down-funnel conversions and revenue.
  • Native English speaker or proficiency in English is a must. Other languages are a plus.
  • Preferably, you have previous experience in Account-Based Marketing as well as lead gen
  • You have worked with Marketing Automation tools (we use Pardot)
  • Deep knowledge of Google Analytics & tracking is a must

  • 3+ years of direct Growth or Paid Marketing experience at a VCbacked startup
  • Comfortable operating with data and not intimidated by analytics
  • Fanatical about understand the audience and approach everything with an audience-first mindset
  • Strong ability to organize and communicate large, complex initiatives and parallel work streams that involve many cross-functional stakeholders (both verbal and written)
  • Resourceful, hard working, and solutions oriented mindset - you work to solve your own problems before asking for help
  • Independent thinker - you use past playbooks as reference materials and constantly challenge yourself to think differently about the problem and the solution.
  • Experience with B2B SaaS tactics
  • Understanding of senior level roles (i.e. CMOs) and how they think
