About the team
The Whisbi product team is experienced and experience-driven. You'll be joining a growing team whose roles include product design, backend and front-end development, and product management.
About the role
As a Sr. Product Designer, you’ll join a newly formed team of designers who care deeply about creating products that successfully meet the customer’s needs. Whisbi products are one of the most exciting and entertaining products out there, given the fact the core essence is based on conversational and live-streaming solutions.
Our process starts with defining a vision in collaboration with product and engineering. Then we research the problem, refine and prioritize (less is more) until we've landed on something that truly helps our customers. you'll get broad exposure to the product and your day-to-day job will also include cross-collaboration with other teams, like customer success or professional services (that customizes the solutions).
This role also involves the need to upgrade and solidify the current design process and adapt it to a new era of product development, that Whisbi is currently emerging too.
Projects you could work on:
Optimizing the B2B experience between call center agents and customers
Experiences based on conversational design
Improving the experience that the call center agents have, on a daily basis
Drive the end-to-enddesign process for various projects, while working in close collaboration with other designers, product managers, and engineers
Have a seat at the decision-making table and ask all the key questions when starting on a new project
Plan ahead and facilitate the user research process in order to solve the specific product problem
Gather insights from qualitative and quantitative research
The ability to analyze and synthesize research findings into actionable points
Design user interfaces, user flows, and prototypes that bring clarity to complex problems
Design interface with accessibility at its core and applied heuristics
Take part in the start of a new designsystem across all products
Design for web and mobile products. So experience and knowledge working with both is appreciated
Facilitate design-hand-offs to developers, detail your final designs as clear as possible in order to be ready for implementation
Be 100% Autonomous. You’ll take full ownership of the projects, and be responsible for every little experience detail
We're looking for someone who has:
At least 5+ years designing digital products across all multiple platforms
Experience in taking decisions at a high level and used to be involved from the decision-making stage
The ability to adapt to cross-cultural conversations, given the fact that our users are from all over the world, but mostly based in the USA
Skills in communicating with the users and defining the right questions in order to understand the needs and define the real problem that the product has
Ability to synthesize the information gathered from research in order to be understood by stakeholders
Strong UX skills and a portfolio that proves it
Is already used working in an Agile environment and knows Scrum methodology
Ability to lead large projects and manage the design process for your work
Enthusiasm to take over the current design work-frame and improve it among the other designers and managers
Willingness to work in ambiguous situations, creating clarity without direction and defining software products from the ground up
Flexibility and the ability to clearly communicate product direction under (sometimes tight) deadlines
Excellent communication and presentation skills
English fluency is required. Additional fluency in another European language is nice to have
Bonus Points For:
Past experience in working with chatbot products or conversational products
Experience establishing and/or maintaining a designsystem
Designing and prototyping with Figma
Experience in working with native mobile environments
Structure of the interview:
The first talk will be with HR 2. Challenge 3. You will meet the Product Owner and Marketing Design Lead where you will have the opportunity to broadly discuss the Challenge and your past experiences and your expectations from your future career step. 4. You’ll meet with our Engineering VP
